Which material should I order?
We have three different materials in our range for signposting hiking trails:
- Hard PVC compact panel
Our plastic panel is made of impact-resistant hard PVC with a high material density. This makes the panel break-proof and impact-resistant. Ideal where vandalism is an issue, but the costs of a solid aluminum panel are too high. - Alu-Dibond composite panel
Our classic – a composite panel made of aluminum cover layers and a plastic core made of black polyethylene. The plastic core makes the panel light but still stable. - Signicolor solid aluminum plate
Do you want solid, rigid and vandalism-resistant hiking signs? Then our Signicolor aluminum is perfect for you. Because hiking signs made of solid aluminum can withstand a lot.

How is your hiking sign made?
The starting point for sign production is the print motif and the base material you have chosen. Depending on the sign material, you can choose from two different printing processes:
Foil printing – the long-lasting option
The printing is done on a self-adhesive digital printing film that is covered with a UV protective laminate. This protects the print from mechanical stress. You can choose the surface finish according to your personal preference. You can choose between matt, glossy or anti-graffiti high gloss. This film combination is glued onto the sign. The guaranteed durability outdoors with foil printing is up to 7 years.
UV direct printing & plate printing – the affordable option
The ink is applied directly to the base material without using foil. The color is hardened using UV light and adhesion is achieved. The advantage of this process is that direct printing saves material. The guaranteed durability outdoors with UV direct printing is up to 3 years.
