The printed film including UV protection laminate is placed on the panel material and pulled on using a RollsRoller. This is how the application works in detail:

We use our RollsRoller to apply adhesive to our panel materials. The RollsRoller is a table with a pull-on roller that we use to apply self-adhesive foil prints to panels without creating bubbles. The semi-automatic process saves us a lot of time and you money! The quality of the adhesive, dry and without water, also guarantees a high adhesive strength on the carrier material.

Laminated foil printing: step-by-step instructions for foil printing

1. We put a roll of polymer adhesive film into our HP latex printer. Pull the film through the printer and stick the end to an empty roll core. Let the printer measure the adhesive film and start printing.
2. Printing starts and the print carriage moves from right to left across the film. Environmentally friendly latex ink is sprayed on. The print carriage stops at the edge of the film and moves in the opposite direction, spraying on ink. At each turning point, the film is also transported several millimeters further. Until complete coverage is achieved, the print head moves over each area 10 times (10 passes). Each advance of the film is a pass.
3. The ink is immediately dried with hot air. The water content of the latex ink evaporates and the color pigment bonds with the surface of the film. Our latex ink is completely odorless, solvent-free and is UL EcoLogo and UL Greenguard Gold certified!
4. Once the motif has been printed, we remove the film roll from the roll printer and apply a transparent UV protective laminate with our film laminator. Depending on your requirements, this can be in a glossy, matt or high-gloss look with anti-graffiti equipment. The UV protective laminate is self-adhesive and is simply stuck to the printed film. This protects the colour or ink from scratches and the protective film also filters the UV light from the sun’s rays. This means that the film print can last up to 7 years outdoors and can withstand wind and weather!
5. You can now begin applying or sticking the foil print. To do this, we place the panel cut to your desired size on the RollsRoller. Remove the protective film from the panel and remove the dust with an anti-static roller.
6. Then place the self-adhesive foil print on the plate. Position the print precisely. Lower the pressure roller of the RollsRoller onto the print, peel off the protective paper and roll the foil print onto the plate in one go.
7. The foil print now sticks to the plate without any bubbles. Cut off the excess foil with the cutter. Done!

Every printing process has its advantages. This is also the case with foil printing. The advantages are:
