We offer you the choice between a matte or glossy gallery print and are available in your desired size and shape, accurate to the millimeter. Your desired motif is printed on high-quality photo paper, as a high-resolution 10-color print with our Epson SC-P20000, with bright colors and graduated gray tones thanks to Epson UltraChrome pigment inks.

The front of the printed photo paper is laminated with a highly transparent, double-sided adhesive film, which is then glued to the back of an acrylic glass plate. An aluminum composite plate is glued behind it for stabilization and sealing. This means that the print is safely embedded between the acrylic glass and the aluminum composite plate. Finally, we mill the gallery print in your desired size and shape.

For gallery prints we only use photo paper and, in FineArt print mode, water-based inks. Thanks to the 10-color print and an extremely high print resolution of 2,400 dpi, even the finest details and color gradients are perfectly displayed. Despite our high-quality material combination and production processes, our gallery prints are particularly affordable.

Matte vs. Glossy: the difference in gallery prints

Gallery prints can be printed with either a matte or glossy finish. Matte means that the photograph has a matte, unusual and non-reflective finish, making it ideal for indoor printing as there are no distracting light reflections.

Glossy, on the other hand, has a shiny and reflective surface that is suitable for outdoor printing or in places with a lot of light. It gives the print depth and a dramatic effect. Ultimately, the choice between matte and glossy depends on personal taste and the requirements of the print.

Gallery Print – how we print your desired motif

After you have placed your order, we will check your desired motifs in the data check. If we find no errors, we will start printing your gallery print. In the first step, we will print your desired motif on premium photo paper from the Felix Schoeller Group. To do this, we use our high-resolution 10-color Epson printer with light colors and graduated black, dark gray, gray and light gray. In the next step, we will laminate a highly transparent, double-sided adhesive film onto the photo paper printed with your desired motif on the print side.

We glue this combination onto the back of a 3 mm thick acrylic glass plate. Behind this we glue a 3 mm thick aluminum composite plate ( Alu Dibond & Co.) for stabilization. This means that the print is embedded and protected between the aluminum composite plate and the matt or glossy acrylic glass.

Finally, we mill the gallery print in your desired size and shape. Your individual gallery print is ready.

FineArt quality at affordable prices: have gallery prints printed

We do not use cheap UV direct printing for gallery prints, as our experience shows that high-quality galleries printed on photo paper are sharper, more color-intensive and more brilliant. We therefore only print gallery prints on photo paper and in FineArt print mode with pigmented water-based inks. Thanks to the 10-color printing and an extremely high print resolution of 2,400 dpi, even the finest details and color gradients are perfectly displayed.
