BlockOut tarpaulins can be printed on one or both sides
The opaque BlockOut tarpaulin is used wherever light sources should not shine through or the back should not be visible. A typical area of use for the BlockOut tarpaulin indoors is ceiling banners printed on both sides. In the outdoor area you can find opaque and light-tight tarpaulins, for example on construction fences.
Light blocking layer prevents shine through
A black light-blocking layer is embedded between the white printable front and back. This prevents the print from showing through, even if the front and back are printed with different motifs.
In addition, the BlockOut tarpaulin is perfectly readable even when the sun or spotlights shine light onto the back. With construction fence banners made of standard tarpaulin, you might be able to see the grid structure of the construction fence panel. With trade fair banners, a shadow or cone of light could make it difficult to read the print due to unfavorable lighting conditions.
The barrier layer ensures that your print is always perfectly legible.
