UV direct printing colors are translucent. The brushed, metallic surface of Alu-Dibond Butlerfinish also shimmers through the printed colors and not just in unprinted areas. This gives the entire print a metallic shimmer!

Yellow coloured areas shimmer slightly golden on Alu-Dibond Butlerfinish Silver. This is because the silver surface mixes with yellow. With the Butlerfinish Gold surface, a printed blue coloured area becomes metallic green. This is what gives Butlerfinish panels their special look.
