With our printed  cast car film, you have long been able to style the paintwork of your vehicle as you wish – even over curves, beads and edges. There is only one thing that has not been possible up to now: covering the entire surface of the windows that are approved for this purpose. But now: with the printed Window Graphics film, which is brand new in our range, we can now offer you a strong solution for this too.

Because as your vehicle drives up – whether it’s a small 10-seater or a large bus – the exterior design of the vehicle, created according to your specifications, delights the eyes and minds of your passengers. And when it’s time to get out, the good mood is still there, because despite your outdoor advertising stickers being super visible in traffic, even over the window panes, your passengers were able to look out wonderfully during the journey and didn’t have to sit behind pitch-black windows, as you might initially fear. This double effect is made possible by a special perforated film with a print, which on the one hand has a black background on the inside so that the external motif comes out particularly well; on the other hand, the film, which is evenly colored on the back, is perforated at regular small intervals so that the people being transported can still see the road.

It is made possible by a trick of our eyes in conjunction with our brain: the eye perceives what is outside through the many small holes in the Window Graphics perforated film, the brain simply calculates out the dark, not very confusing inner edges of the film and combines the small individual images into a larger whole that only appears slightly darkened but is still completely logical. Beautiful view, beautiful outside view! With individually printed perforated adhesive film you really score twice.

Is this even allowed? Road safety and printed window graphics perforated film

Anything goes? That’s what the saying goes, but we all know and understand that this isn’t so easy, especially in traffic. After all, safety comes first!

There are important restrictions according to the StVZO for sticking printed perforated film onto vehicle windows:

For example, the windscreen must remain clear in all cases, as the driver’s view must not be restricted in any way. The perforated film may therefore not be used here either. However, there are relaxations for side and rear windows depending on the type of vehicle; even small cars are allowed to have stickers on them depending on the design and position of the windows – and for large vehicles such as buses, the permitted window areas are of course much larger.

Our Window Graphics perforated film meets the required legal requirements for vehicle wrapping: It has a German general type approval (ABG) according to § 22a of the German Road Traffic Licensing Regulations (StVZO). However, you should not just stick anything on: You can find detailed information on the rules for vehicle wrapping in § 19 StVZO and from the responsible TÜV or DEKRA testing center or the police.
