In order to perfectly showcase your individual print, we attach great importance to a high print resolution. That is why we print transparent, colorless acrylic glass with a backing in high-quality and long-lasting foil printing.

Foil printing behind acrylic glass – with backing as desired

We print acrylic glasses using a high-quality foil printing process. The foil printing guarantees that our acrylic glasses are very durable and extremely robust. The print is protected, embedded between the acrylic glass and the backing. UV-resistant, no fading colors and absolutely weatherproof – so you can enjoy your photo behind acrylic glass or company sign for a long time.

Even when mounted with wall spacers or glued suspension, the backing protects the print from scratches. Chipping of the backing is also a thing of the past.

All of these reasons speak in favor of high-quality foil printing and against UV direct printing. This is because the ink adheres unprotected to the acrylic glass. This is also the reason why we decided against UV direct printing for prints behind acrylic glass.

Edge appearance: unpolished – rough sawn or highly polished – smooth

We cut all acrylic glass to your desired size with millimeter precision. The edge is slightly rough and matt due to the saw blade. We are happy to polish the rough saw edge for you with a diamond polishing machine. This makes the acrylic glass edge high-gloss and crystal clear.

Polished edge: Particularly classy for photos and pictures or office signs!

Important: The popular saying in Bavaria “Wos i ned kon, kon Silikon” is not always to be taken literally. Because bonding with silicone is not always the best plan. Acrylic glass expands and silicone cannot cope with this. The film that is stuck to the back of the acrylic glass then partially comes off. For a perfect and damage-free bond, please use a special mirror adhesive tape.

Tip: If silicone, then please use Gallery Print . There is an aluminum Dibond composite panel on the back. You can deface this with silicone.
